Why this one
Anyone can sell you a gazebo.
Folded in a bag, they all look identical. The difference doesn’t show up on a showroom floor it hits you on a wet & windy pitch in February, when you’re rushing to rig it alone for the four-hundredth time.
That’s the only test we design for. After 20 years of watching how & where standard gazebos fail, we engineered a frame that simply doesn't:
- The largest square leg tube in the country for unmatched durability.
- Extruded aluminium brackets instead of brittle plastic housings.
- Forged Stainless steel sliders & leg brackets with over-centre levers for strength and ease of use.
- Unique Profiled rubber leg caps and neoprene jackets on every joint to prevent premature canopy wear
None of this is visible when it’s packed away. But it’s the reason this frame will still be earning its keep in ten years.
Component by component
The devil is in the detail.
Seven decisions that cost us more to make and cost you less to own.
01
Legs 30% stronger in bending
51×51mm square upper legs, 42mm square lowers - the largest section of square tube on any pop-up gazebo in the UK. An aeronautical design engineer calculated them to be 30% stronger in bending than the typical 50mm hex and 42mm square tubes
02
Levers that lock open
Instead of the industry standard pull-ring, we designed a forged stainless over-centre lever that locks fully open or closed as required for easy rigging/de-rigging. The brass detente button is 12mm rather than the usual 8mm which reduced wear on the leg by spreading the load more effectively.
03
Footplates that haven’t failed since 2014
100×100×6mm aluminium, welded to the upstand and fastened to the leg with four high-tensile rivets. Eleven years in service, not a single reported failure. A 20mm hole takes a serious peg for securing the gazebo properly in high winds. For market use, we offer a unique ground anchor system so no weights are needed to secure the stall. The footplate has a keyhole system for quick and easy rigging.
04
Neoprene jackets on every upper joint
Metal and canopy fabric do not mix, especially folded in the back of a van. Every upper joint on our frames wears a neoprene jacket - standard since 2005, and still the only UK manufacturer fitting them. Proven to add up to four years to the life of a canopy. The frame protects the expensive bit.
05
Scissor tubes that don’t act like scissors
40×20mm oval section, re-profiled in 2021 for greater resistance to wear in the bolt holes. The oval profile stops the scissors cutting into the canopy when the tent is folded. End caps are held captive by the bolt so they can’t drop out, and double as a bearing to further reduce wear.
06
Rubber where the canopy takes the strain
The top of each leg is the highest stress point on any canopy, so ours are capped with profiled rubber bungs that spread the load rather than concentrate it. The king-post top is rubber too. When a plastic one lets go, it usually takes the canopy with it.
07
Every single part, on the shelf
Bolts, brackets, levers, end caps, footplates - every component is stocked and can usually be with you overnight. A twelve-year-old frame should be worth repairing rather than replacing, so we make sure it always is.
Choose your cloth
PVC or Polyester?
Both are good. They’re good at different things, and we’d rather tell you which one you actually need than sell you a product that doesn't work for you.
Polyester
Lighter · Better for print
Lighter, sits better on the frame, prints beautifully and costs less. Ours is 500d with a PU backing and made in Korea - not the PVC-backed cloth common on imported frames, which can trap moisture resulting in unsightly mildew stains.
Choose polyester if you want bold graphics, a crisp look, or if weight is an issue
PVC
Twice the life · Properly waterproof
More durable by a factor of at least two, easier to clean, and welded rather than stitched so it’s genuinely waterproof. Manufactured in house using Dickson and St Clair PVC sourced in Europe with a weight of 500/550gsm. Treated against mould and UV, carrying UK and European fire certificates, and proven on market pitches since 2006.
Choose PVC if the stall goes up week in, week out, and you’d rather buy a canopy half as often.

Sizes and dimensions
Six sizes, one set of engineering. The 2×2m gets the same legs, brackets and footplates as the 6×3m.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2×2m | 24kg | 26.9kg | 2.9-3.3m | 2.15m | 1.88m | 164×30×30cm |
| 3×2m | 28kg | 31.8kg | 2.9-3.3m | 2.15m | 2.88m | 164×40×30cm |

| 4.5×3m | 37kg | 43.6kg | 3.3-3.6m | 2.15m | 4.38m | 164×45×35cm |
| 6×3m | 51.5kg | 60kg | 3.3-3.6m | 2.15m | 5.88m | 164×60×35cm |
Ground to internal framework is 2.21m on every size. Pelmet depth 360mm. Leg height adjusts between 660mm and 960mm at the join.
