Looking for maximum brand exposure? Our premium Rectangle Banner Flags (sometimes called block flags) offer the largest printable surface area of all our flag styles. Thanks to their structured shape, your design remains fully visible and easy to read, even on completely still, windless days!

What is included in a rectangle banner flag kit?

Every IM rectangle flag set comes with the essential hardware (excluding the base) to create a striking display:

  • UK-Made Custom Flag: High-quality flag polyester printed using vibrant dye-sublimation in the Uk.

  • Fibreglass Mast (with top arm): Extremely reliable in all weather conditions, supplied in 1.5m sections. The right-angled top arm holds the flag out squarely for maximum visibility.

  • Tension Clamp: Positioned near the bottom of the mast to ensure your rectangular flag stays perfectly taut.

  • Heavy-Duty Carry Bag: Neatly stores all your kit components, featuring a dedicated exterior pocket to house an optional Chrome Ground Spike.

Should I choose single-sided or double-sided print?

  • Single-Sided (Recommended): We always prefer single-sided prints! The fabric allows light to pass through, giving the flag a wonderful translucence. They are lighter, flutter better in the breeze, and are the most cost-effective option.

  • Double-Sided: If your design features text that cannot be mirrored on the reverse, or you want a different design on each side, our double-sided flags are made from a special light-block material ensuring the print cannot be seen from one side to the other.

What size rectangle flag do I need?

We offer three versatile height options to suit your specific event footprint:

  • 2m Flag: Includes a 2-section mast + banner arm.

  • 3m Flag: Includes a 3-section mast + banner arm.

  • 4m Flag: Includes a 4-section mast+ banner arm.

Which base is best for my rectangle flag?

Important Note: Every flag requires a base to stand, which is not included in the kit price. This allows you to choose the exact base suited for your display location.

  • Soft Ground (Grass, Earth, Sand): We highly recommend the Chrome Spike with bearing. The Crossbase is also a reliable option when secured with 4 ground spikes.

  • Hard Ground (2m & 3m Flags): The 20L Waterbase provides ideal stability.

  • Hard Ground (3m & 4m Flags): The heavier 40L Waterbase is essential to safely secure our tallest flags.

  • Mixed Terrain: The Crossbase is brilliant for hard ground when equipped with a water weight ring.

How do I supply artwork for my rectangle flag?

We make the artwork process incredibly straightforward. You can choose one of two ways:

  1. Use our templates: Download the Rectangle Banner Flag Adobe Illustrator template from the "Templates" tab and design your flag following the provided instructions.

  2. Use our FREE design service: Send over your high-resolution vector logo (.ai, .eps, or hi-res .pdf only—no .jpegs or ai files please!), and we will create a FREE print-ready visual for you, allowing up to 3 complimentary changes!
